Why do they call it holidays and not holy days?
So far I have taken the following holidays and trips abroad:
| London, UK, April 1989 - a weekend with fellow students. |
| France, August 1991 - two weeks in the
southern Provence area. |
| Interrail, August 1992 - four weeks back-packing through Europe by train &
tent: France, Spain, Portugal, and into the north-African kingdom of Morocco. |
| USA, July/August 1997 - almost four weeks
through 10 western states, from LA to Seattle and back via several of the great National
Parks and Las Vegas. |
| Prague, Czech Republic, October 1997 - a weekend with some of my European
friends from the USA trip. |
| Sardinia, Italy, September 1998 - two weeks of sun, beach, surfing and sailing. |
| Paris, April 1999 - a fun weekend trip with 300 colleagues. |
| Athens and Saronic Islands, Greece, July 1999 - two weeks of fun, sun, ferries,
islands, monuments, watersports, beaches, restaurants, bars and good company, in short: a
great trip! |
If you want to hear details about any of these destinations, feel free to send me an
e-mail. I like going almost anywhere, and I'd especially like to visit some of these in
the future:
| Turkey |
| France (again!) |
| USA (again!) |
